Beth Collins is the leading John Lyons certified trainer in North Carolina taught by John himself using unbroke horses. Beth is in business to put herself out of business. Her primary goal is to help train people to train their own horses.

Many people are familiar with the basic concepts of the Lyons conditioned response training, however, Beth can help you recognize that these aspects of the natural horsemanship program represent just the tip of the iceberg of what is possible to achieve between horseman and horse.

Beth has done it all. Eventing, foxhunting, showing, equitation, dressage, hunter jumper, she's even been a jockey.

However, in 1998, even with all that experience and success Beth felt unfulfilled and frustrated with all that she had learned. She felt in her heart there must be a kinder, gentler and more effective way to train and communicate with horses. She loaded up her trailer with two unbroke horses and headed to the Lyons ranch in Parachute, Colorado to be schooled in his famous conditioned response training program. After 18 weeks, Beth knew she had found what she had been seeking. Effective training methods that communicated with horses in their language, not ours.

Beth Collins bases her operations at her private training facility, Rancho Simpatico, in Hampstead, North Carolina.
